A Word for the Start of the Year

Momentum Over Intentions

January is full of energy. New calendars. Fresh starts. Clear intentions.
And yet, every year, we watch the same pattern repeat itself.

By mid-January, momentum fades.

In fact, there’s a well-documented national phenomenon known as “Quitter’s Day”—typically the second Friday of January—when most people abandon the goals they set just days earlier. Not because they’re lazy. Not because they don’t care. But because intention alone can’t carry weight for very long.

As leaders, we refuse to normalize quitting.

Not because we’re stronger than everyone else—but because we understand something many never learn: growth requires structure, not just desire.

That conviction is why we began 2026 by focusing on goal setting and execution across the 360° Global Network.

There's another reason this convication is important to us as a network. It's because we're committed to seeing the church become everything God designed and destined it to be.

What started strong begins to level off, not because the moment wasn’t meaningful, but because momentum was never designed to ...
