Apostle Jaime Loya
FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Jaime Loya serves as Senior and Founding Pastor of Cross Church (1995), a bilingual, multi-site ministry in the great state of Texas. Aside from his pastoral duties, Pastor Loya serves as a mentor and ministry consultant to other pastors in America and around the world. Pastor Loya is regarded as one of the leading and most influential Hispanic voices of this generation. He is an accomplished author, songwriter, and conference speaker. He and his wife, Rose Mary, are the proud parents of four adult children: Hannah and her husband Aldo, Sarah, Isaiah and his wife Autumn, and Josiah.
Mario Escobedo
Dr. Mario Escobedo holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Baylor University. He’s served as a pastor, Bible teacher, and ministry innovator dedicated to equipping and empowering leaders for greater Kingdom impact. With over 30 years of ministry experience, including launching and leading Westover Hills Español in San Antonio, TX, he blends academic training with real-world ministry insight. Through his “Bible Study Mentor” approach, Dr. Escobedo provides practical tools and strategies that help pastors and ministry leaders study and teach God’s Word with clarity, confidence, and transformative power—equipping them to lead effectively and multiply their influence in and beyond the local church.
Juan de la Garza
Serves in the office of an Apostle for the Cross Churches in the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio, Texas. Married to Rosie for 48 years. Have 4 daughters, 3 sons in-law’s, and 6 grandchildren.

Eric Garza
Eric serves as an executive pastor of Cross Church overseeing several campuses, expansion endeavors for both campus planting and acquisitions, and helps in organizational strategy development. He also serves as an ambassador and spokesperson for the church organization. His role includes providing pastoral and operational support to senior leadership and coaching and training to staff and teams. He works with a talented team, volunteers, and key stakeholders to advance the mission of the church and grow the organization's footprint.
Eric is a certified John Maxwell Coach and Speaker. He formerly served as a school board member for Jubilee Academies. As an entrepreneur, he owns and operates several companies in the real estate, construction, and investment industries.
He holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University, and a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Eric is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling; he resides in Harlingen, Texas.
